With the opening of offices, shopping centers and entertainment, in the near future, we must pay attention to health protocols to prevent the transmission of the corona virus. This includes maintaining physical distance between humans. There are several suggestions regarding safe physical distancing in the new normal era. Some say that the ideal distance between people is two meters

, but some say that one meter is enough. According to one of the studies that is claimed to be the most comprehensive, it is stated that the most optimal physical distance to prevent Covid-19 transmission is at least one meter. However, the most effective turned out to be two meters.

"Physical distance of more than one meter can reduce virus infection significantly. Each time this distance is increased by one meter further, the effectiveness of prevention is doubled, "wrote the researchers in their report in the journal The Lancet. Keep in mind this is the optimal distance, because there are studies that say that under certain conditions,

sneezing droplets can spread up to 6-8 meters. Covid-19 is transmitted through droplets, especially when people cough and sneeze. The droplets that carry the virus then enter through the eyes, nose and mouth, or through contaminated hands when they touch surfaces in public places.
